TENDERS close on February 26 for a lifestyle property in the Ohariu Valley that’s as much a playground for adults as their children.

The main bedroom opens to a deck; the spacious bathroom has a bath, shower, vanity and toilet, and there’s a separate toilet off the hall, where stairs lead to internal-access garaging for two vehicles.

The swimming pool has changing facilities (with another toilet), and is complemented by a pergola with an open log fire.

The tennis court includes a volleyball board and, because it’s grass, it can be used for a cricket pitch with the net removed, Mrs Johnson says.

“This is a wonderful home that’s perfect for family living and entertaining. It’s exceptionally sunny, sheltered and private, and because it’s serviced by a spring, you never have to worry about running short of water.

“There are two main paddocks that would suit horses or sheep, and plenty of space for children of all ages to enjoy – all less than 25 minutes’ drive from the central business district.”

Mrs Johnson says comparable properties have sold for more than $1.3 million.
